ALLESWITZ, the industrial punk band with a cult following at the forefront of Kyushu’s underground scene, makes its hertz debut.
Using discarded materials, electronic instruments and tools, their performances sometimes send sparks flying. Their destructive sound and performance embody industrial music itself. Their enigmatic presence has led them to be described as “like demolition work.” With two days of live performances in the Kanto region also confirmed, ALLESWITZ stands out far beyond Kyushu, across Japan.
Joining them are artists whose sounds carry a sense of destruction and danger: S_B_B, based in Oita and active both in Japan and internationally; Confused Head, who runs Bog Down Tapes; and vvekapipo.
ALLESWITZ
ALLESWITZ is an industrial punk band that uses discarded materials and tools. The band formed during the pandemic around Uto of accidents in too large field, formerly of VELOCITYUT. Each member occupies a singular position in Kyushu’s underground scene, while the band’s very existence remained shrouded in darkness.
In 2022, they released their debut seven-inch EP, ALLESWITZ. Their sound recalls Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire, while traces of melody warp the surrounding space, radically twisting the musical perceptions of those who witness them.
